Devo Team
what is devo?
The BBNT Devo (development) team is the perfect fit for athletes in 6th grade or older who are ready to develop their cross-country skiing skills.
We accommodate all skill levels, providing tailored training throughout the year.
In summer and fall, we focus on agility, technique, and fitness with great outdoor activities like hiking, running, mountain biking, and roller skiing.
In winter, we hit the snow, refining skills and having a blast on the trails.
Whether you're continuing from the Youth Rec program or new to skiing, there's a place for you.
There are a wide array of goals within the Devo team. Devo prepares athletes to join the Comp (competition) team in high school if they wish; however, plenty of athletes choose to stay with Devo through high school. You can’t age out of Devo, and there is absolutely no requirement to move up to Comp in 9th grade.
No ski experience is required to join Devo!

Important Information
Two-Child Discount: Second (and 3rd, 4th, 5th…) child in a BBNT program receives 25% off (discount is on the less expensive program).
Equipment: First year athletes on the Devo Team brand new to skiing may rent BBNT equipment (skis, boots and poles). Select Devo Equipment Rental during registration. After the first season, all Devo athletes are expected to own their own equipment. Please note that BBNT equipment is for use at practices and BBNT races/events and cannot be taken on personal trips.
Additional Costs: During winter, the team travels to a handful of races outside of Boise. These trips are not required, but they are often the highlight of the season for athletes. We are very price conscious and run the trips as efficiently as possible. Race trips include lodging, food, race entry, and transportation. Financial aid is available!
Athletes must have a Bogus Basin season pass. The Alpine pass does not cover nordic. To buy your Bogus Basin season pass online Click Here.
For insurance purposes, all participants must be US Ski & Snowboard members. General memberships are available here.
