Masters

Program Information

Founded in the winter of 2020, BBNT Masters is for adult athletes of any ability, including adaptive athletes. Our mission is to provide a fun, positive training environment where athletes of any level can achieve their specific goals in a team setting. Practices will be catered to all skill levels, from those just learning to ski to those looking to train for races and fine tune their technique. Everyone is invited!

A note on Skate vs. Classic Skiing: In a perfect world we would ski 50/50 Skate & Classic. However, many adults choose to primarily Skate ski, and thus we will cater most practices towards Skate. There will be designated Classic sessions each month, and athletes attending Tuesday morning interval sessions can choose either Skate or Classic for every workout. We highly encourage everyone to participate in both techniques. Classic skiing will make you a better Skate skier, and vice versa.

Important Details

  • All athletes must have a valid US Ski and Snowboard number. For our purposes, the “cross-country volunteer” option is cheapest and will suffice.

  • There’s a high likelihood that we’ll provide transportation on a first come, first served basis for Tuesday and Thursday morning winter sessions.

  • Please email Masters Head Coach Stacey Galinat with any questions.
